Our proven path to a fast and effective
WrightTools implementation consists of a mix of the following workshops and
consulting services.
Workshops
SMARTQUOTE
Suite Workshop
This two-day workshop is required to learn the
basics of SMARTQUOTE,
PRICEMASTER, and
DATATRANSFER. It covers quoting screens,
fields, menus, buttons, drop-downs and sample reports. Attendees will practice
adding and editing accounts and quotes, then converting quotes to orders. They
will build a sample PRICEMASTER
pricebook and compare with other pricing methods
available. They will review the database structure, set up the DataTransfer
utility, perform sample transfers and receive an overview of installation, data
imports, maintenance and other system administration tasks.
Recommended Participants
This workshop is recommended for representatives
from Information Systems and Sales or Customer Service.
Preparation
Prior to attending the workshop, the instructor
will conference with the attendees to discuss current and desired quoting
methodology, pricing and account maintenance procedures. This call will
determine the course focus and what type of information to bring for hands-on
practice with real data. Attendees should have participated in the sales
demonstration or be familiar with the primary implementation objectives and have
reviewed the WRIGHTTOOLS Demo CD.
CONFIGURATOR+
Workshop
This three-day workshop is required to learn the
basics of CONFIGURATOR+. It covers the use of objects, line level and order
level configurations, rule writing, configured pricing, menus and navigation.
Attendees will also learn techniques to handle various business situations, such
as grouping and multiple-choice options. The course begins with a case study and
moves to a custom application with real data. Implementation start up and
ongoing maintenance issues can be included as desired so that this course will
help in a fast track situation.
Recommended Participants
This workshop is recommended for representatives
from Engineering, Manufacturing and Sales or Customer Service.
Preparation
Prior to attending the workshop, the instructor
will conference with the attendees to discuss the current and desired custom
products order process. This call will determine the course focus and what type
of information to bring for the custom application. Typically, this consists of
product catalogs with options and pricing, sample quotes, sales orders, bills of
materials, shop routings, shop instructions, conversion formulas and lookup
tables. Attendees should have participated in the sales demonstration or be
familiar with the primary implementation objectives and have reviewed the
WrightTools Demo CD.
Consulting
We recommend that new customers purchase a
minimum of two days of implementation consulting. We can be of assistance in the
installation of WRIGHTTOOLS
on the network, data imports to initialize the SMARTQUOTE
database, setting up SMARTQUOTE,
PRICEMASTER
pricebooks, CONFIGURATOR+
file design, custom report writing and cutover support to speed
your implementation process. In addition, if you own other WRIGHTTOOLS
modules,
like EASYESTIMATE,
STOREFRONT,
SALESVIEW Suite or
WORDCONNECT, we further
recommend that you add appropriate onsite assistance.
